Museum After Hours Summer Party

The much-loved Museum summer party is back for its third year! You are cordially invited to join us for a summer evening of live music, tasty eats and drinks, museum exhibits, and good company. The evening will include:

• Exhibit preview of our new exhibit Underwater Archaeology: Diving into the Stories of People and Canal Boats on Lake Champlain
• After-hours access to exhibits including Key to Liberty, the replica Philadelphia II gunboat, Prohibition in the Champlain Valley, the Hazelett Small Watercraft Center, and more
• Live music by local band Unruly Allies
• Wood-fired pizza and salad by Open Hearth Pizza
• Ice cream from Vergennes-based Lu•Lu Ice Cream
• Beer, wine, and a special summer cocktail
• Raffle of special items including a Whistling Man Schooner Co. cruise, custom-carved Lake Champlain wooden map by Treeline Terrains, Prime Shades sunglasses, tickets to the Vergennes Opera House, and more.

Tickets are $50 per person and include your food for the night (pizza, salad, and ice cream!) and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase at the raffle table and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Families and kids are welcome! Attendees under 10 do not require a ticket and will be admitted for free – please indicate in your ticket reservation if you are bringing any kids under 10 with you.

Donations from this event support the Museum’s free admission for all visitors and pay-what-you-can summer camps and teen expeditions. You can choose to donate any amount in addition to your ticket purchase or make a donation during the party or afterwards.
