Educational Programs

The Lake Champlain Maritime Museum has educational programming to suit nearly every age and learning objective. We welcome everyone - from small home school groups to large busloads of kids. If you don't see a program that works for you, give us a call; we can augment or adjust a program to better meet your students' needs. From our on-site education at Basin Harbor, to our touring replica schooner Lois McClure; from the simplicity of having our educators visit your classroom, to the adventure of taking kids out in boats, we have a fun, exciting, and educational program for your students.

We have organized our offerings by topic and by type, to the right. Also note that we offer free lesson plans to help educators prepare students for each field trip, and kits to rent for classroom use. Please read "Tips to make your visit successful" to get the most out of your experience.

Pricing

Unless otherwise noted with the program descriptions, we offer the following sliding scale fee structure for multiple educational programs. We often receive funding for subsidized or free programs. Call for details.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
To register for these programs, simply call us at 802-475-2022 anytime Monday - Friday between 9:30 and 4:30.
