Howitzer Shell, fragment
Object/Artifact
Artifact 04-21 is a fragment of a cast-iron bomb shell. It is unclear at this time if it was fired from a 5.5 or 8.5 Howitzer. There is the appearance of small half circles, possibly from casting. Interior pitting. There's a minor marking at the base, possibly to hold the object upright.
