Hidden History of Lake Champlain: Author Talk with Jason Barney & Christine Eldred

Lake Champlain is well-known for its battles and mythical lake monsters, but what about bootlegging, communes, or the lives of the people who have called the region home? Join us on Saturday, May 19 for a special free talk with Vermont authors Jason Barney and Christine Eldred as they share stories from their book Hidden History of Lake Champlain.

In this talk, Jason and Christine will discuss their latest work and share some highlights of their research into the lesser-known histories of Lake Champlain and its surrounding towns. Hidden History of Lake Champlain is available to pre-order with registration, with additional copies being sold on a first-come basis on the day of the program. After the talk, Jason and Christine will be available to sign copies of their book and answer questions.
