Open Sailing Hours

Experience Lake Champlain by sail! Get out on the water and have some fun in custom-built sailing dinghies made in the Museum’s boat shop. Open Sailing Hours are available for anyone with prior sailing experience to enjoy.

Boats are available to book in 1-hour increments for yourself or a group. Each sailing dinghy can fit two adults and one child (under 13) maximum. Participants should have previous on-water experience in a sail boat or other small watercraft and should be able to swim. Come prepared to sail, wear attire that is okay to get wet. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if you need special accommodation. Dinghies will depart from the Museum docks in North Harbor.
